Daytime is best but hardest

Sometimes I manage to get craters.  Hunting inferior planets in the daytime is difficult but it helps to polar align while you still see stars and wait for planets to rise towards the meridian.

False color via InfraRed and UltraViolet

Venus is bright and boring to the eye.  The human eye is not sensitive to IR or UV but most mono-cameras are.  Instead of using RGB filters, I shoot Venus in IR-G-UV.

I have my own MPC code - W50

I blame the Virtual Star Party via Dr. Pamela Gay for my obsession with minor planets.  I was finding Eros for the group and found it strangely addictive!
